More House

By the way, I gave my first ever hair cut. Ricky let me practice on him. =0 ) He pretended like he hated it, but it really turned out ok. I wasn't going for great...as long as it look 'fine,' I was happy!!!
Here's what the house looks like now with a little bit less construction. The front yard is done, (thanks to everyone for helping dig the holes and for my mom's wonderful plant housewarming gifts), and the kitchen is just about done as well. I'll have to get more pictures of the upstairs though.
David helped us do our backsplash...he did a FANTASTIC job!!! It's so gorgeous! Still a working progress of course, but it looks so nice!!!
Below is the view from the front door looking back at the kitchen. And this is the opposite view...looking from the kitchen to the front door. Right off the front door to the right is the downstairs bedroom.

This is our backyard. Nice, huh? =0 ) Ok, not so nice yet...but it will be. Ricky can't wait to start landscaping and get his garden all set up. And here's the front of our house. The front window downstairs is the downstairs bedroom, and the two windows above the garage is our laundry room. It's so nice!!! And we basically redid all the front yard plants. We kept the trees and a couple plants, but most everything is new. as

  4. Of COURSE you can stay Ashley!!! I love having company! =0 ) I can't wait for everyone to get here. Ricky's excited too! I never thought I'd ever have the guts to cut someone's hair, but Ricky's so patient and forgiving that he made it easy for me to try. =0 ) I was just happy we didn't need to make a rush to the hair dresser to fix my mess ups!
